Paolo has been working with wine all his life and Guy has many years experience in the travel industry. Here is a little more about us:
Guy Bowden
Guy, or 'Guido' as he is known around here, was brought up in Italy and Spain. After studying in Scotland and northern Italy he spent a year living in Rome working as a tour-guide around some of the Eternal City’s most famous sights. After a brief (very brief!) interlude selling shares he jumped ship and has spent five years as a tour-leader all over the world. As well as hiding out in Cuba, Guatemala, Belize, Tibet and the South Pacific he has also led tours throughout Italy and Spain. Now he is based in Courmayeur trying to keep a small tour company running smoothly and finding time to fit in some skiing during the winters and some climbing and hiking in the summers.
Paolo Panizzi
Paolo is a Courmayeur local through and through. His family has always been involved in the production and sale of local specialities, including some award-winning cheeses. Along with his brother, he has created one of the regions best-known wine and cheese emporiums. Paolo is a qualified sommelier and has a real passion for the wines of his region. He lives with his young family in the heart of the Mont Blanc valley and splits his time between his famous wine and cheese shop and guiding people around the vineyards and wineries of the Aosta Valley and beyond.
